On 13/9/1426 h. a preliminary meeting of the founding of the committee of the system was held under the chairmanship of HE the University President. He reviewed the idea of establishing a system as a positive turning point in the course of the university and ongoing charity serving the present and future generations, God willing.

On 16-9-1426 h. the decision No. 15375 /Q was issued by His Excellency the University President to establish the system of work and knowledge to be scientific and practical system, and be established in accordance with international standards, and be devoted to creativity, innovation and technology transfer, with partnership and integration between sectors of King Abdulaziz University and the national business environment for the benefit of homeland and citizens.

System of work and knowledge provides an integrated environment to embrace distinctive competencies of university students and graduates and faculty members in order to acquire the knowledge and use for scientific and practical research, development, innovation, excellence, and creativity.

On 20-9-1426 h. the decision No. 15,571 /Q was issued by His Excellency the University President to establish the system of work and knowledge, knowledge, which prepared the following studies:
